Papaya Enzyme Peel by Elemis
The Papaya Enzyme Peel by Elemis ($42) is “a rinse-off exfoliating cream, rich in fruit enzymes, smoothes, conditions and repairs deep down.” Made of natural fruit enzymes, it aims to smooth and purify the complexion with exfoliating papaya and calming pineapple. Milk protein, sunflower extract, vitamin E and marine algae provide moisturization while protecting against and repairing free radical damage. To use, begin by cleansing (and toning, if you’d like) your facial skin. Then, apply the product onto your skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.
We love the fresh, light tropical scent – so yummy! The consistency of the product is very smooth and easy to apply onto skin. Almost immediately, you can feel your skin tightening, but it does not cause discomfort or irritate skin. After washing off, our skin felt and looked SO baby smooth and glowy, as if we just had a purifying spa facial without the downtime. Totally amazing! You can really see the results within one use. It’s probably one of the best masks we’ve ever used; we’ll definitely be raving about this to our friends. This gentle peel is really ideal for sensitive skin types (as it doesn’t provoke breakouts like other products), but works on practically anyone!
