Cocktail for Clear Skin

I remember back when I was in high school I would obsessively stalk the Peter Thomas Roth section of my local Sephora. I had extremely breakout-prone skin and PTR was my regime for keeping everything under control. Luckily in the last 5 or 6 years, my skin has calmed down considerably. However, I still get that occassional breakout and I find that I’m still turning to PTR on a daily basis to help maintain the clarity of my skin.

Peter Thomas Roth’s Gentle Complexion Correction Pads are all I need now to keep my skin looking and feeling healthy. First of all, they come in a fresh peach bellini scent that instantly perk me up. And just as bellinis are good for the soul, these are good for the skin. These gentle double sided cleansing pads contain 10% glycolic acid and 0.5% salicylic acid to regulate healthy cell turnover. The glycolic acid (AHA) exfoliates surface dead cells while the salicylic acid (BHA) loosens sebum within pores and clears up acne and blackheads. These pads also contain green tea extract as a natural anti-oxidant and aloe vera and chamomile to soothe and comfort. A quick swipe is all it takes to deliver all these ingredients to your face in a very convenient, at home treatment.

While these pads are intended to be used after cleansing in a daily routine- sometimes I cheat and use these as my cleanser. If you’re ever just too tired to wash your face at night, keep these pads on your nightstand. These pads will fully remove all makeup and the textured side will provide gentle exfoliation that takes almost no effort on your part. This way, you will be able to wake up with clearer skin..and a clearer conscious.Â

Price: $36.00 for 60 pads.

Though if you have more acne prone skin- i would try the Max version.

I actually just got the new “Un-wrinkle” peel pads, which have a 20% mix of exfoliators…I think they’re going to be great!
