New York Fashion Week SP08: Erin Fetherston

For Spring 2008, Erin Fetherston sticks to a color palette primarily consisting of varying shades of white and gray, though there are a few solid pieces of the palest pink/ green. Dubbed the “Flights of Fancy,” her signature ethereal touch still graces her pieces, which looked fluid and/or airy down the runway. This collection might be the most wearable yet, as there were quite a few pieces I could see in many women’s closets (like all those pretty little gray dresses); yet, it still retains Fetherston’s naive, playfully girly style. White turbans, headbands (sitting on the forehead) and antler-inspired hair pieces adorned many models’ heads. White eyeliner seemed to be the only exception to barefaced, natural-looking skin. Also, as a partner of Coutorture this year, we are lucky enough to share their runway video with you. Check it out!
