This fall, Glamour and Shopbop have partnered up yet again for a designer series of limited edition t-shirts. Select designers were chosen to create an original images that “reflect their creativity and inimitable vision.” The images were then screenprinted onto a white cotton bop basics short-sleeved tees and signed by the designer. This year, the designers are:
- Peter Som: Adorned with a bow and lace detailing, Peter “wanted to elevate the everyday t-shirt into something with a touch of femininity and luxury. Chantilly lace and a bow were the perfect match.â€
- Marchesa: This shirt has super-luxe jeweled snakes printed on the front and back.
- Thakoon: Because “a bleeding heart is the definition of true love…,†this shirt has a pink watercolor heart placed over the heart.
- Erin Fetherston: Inspired by Erin’s favorite necklace, she “loves the look of a crisp white tee with a locket. It looks great layered under a dress or all on it’s own.â€
- Jovovich-Hawk: A line drawing of fairies, “it was inspired by body shapes and mosaics.â€
And even better news? The proceeds go towards a good cause! For every T-shirt that’s sold, Glamour, Shopbop, and Malaria No More will donate three bed nets to women in Africa. Bed net manufacturer Sumitomo Chemical will match the donations, making it six bed nets for every t-shirt sold.
