Washed Velvet

I debated with myself for a couple weeks about the merits of velvet. And then I caved and bought these Slim Washed Velvet Trousers ($78) from Boden. They were just so chic-looking on the website!

The cut of the pant is like a pair of straight leg jeans, but the velvet material dresses them up. I bought them in grey (available also in black and dark clove), which are darker than they look online, with a slight violet undertone. They are very soft, though a bit higher-waisted that I’m normally accustomed to. Overall, they are more glam than the typical pant, but still work for everyday casual and comfort.

Note: When purchasing, get out the tape measure. Boden sizing can vary for each garment and is very much based on your measurements.
