Love Like Honey

Though I’ve seen products from Le Couvent Des Minimes for years, I never tried the brand until recently. My hands were feeling dry and I dug up a small tube of Nourishing Hand Cream in Honey & Shea Butter (available at Dillard’s). I thought, “Great! It’s perfect to keep in my desk drawer at work.”

Along with linseed, sweet almond and marshmallow, this hand cream contains high concentrations of shea butter and honey for hydration. I was a little thrown off by the scent at first, mostly because it was really unlike any other hand cream I’ve tried before. It smells exactly like honey, but slightly sweeter. The texture is rich and thick, but sinks in easily and fairly quickly — an absolute must when there’s a lot of typing to do! It really does keep my hands feeling soft and moisturized through the day. Since I brought it into the office, I surprisingly have been using it at least once daily.
