Pocket This Palette

I adore Laura Mercier’s line of products (I’ve never been shy about professing my love for her tinted moisturizer), and her Petite Eye Palette in Nightfall ($25) is another addition to that long list of loves. This tiny palette is basically a limited edition set of smashing, versatile eyeshadows that will keep you looking fabulous. It contains a trio of hues: Deep Night, Topaz and Pearl. Use Topaz and Pearl for a soft shimmery daytime look (I take advantage of this combination all the time), or use all three to create a lovely smoky-eyed look for night. The micro-sized compact is so small that it won’t take up any room at all in your evening bag. It also comes with a mirror conveniently, perfect for on-the-go application. I’m completely obsessed with it…and am now convinced that every woman should have a palette like this in their beauty stash.

Hi Lilan — The Deep Night is a bit tough, but I use a smudge brush like this: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?categoryId=C17634&id=P148008&shouldPaginate=true to help! :)

I really love this palette as well! Although, Deep Night is a little tough for me to blend most days – I wonder if it’s the matte formula that causes this. Do you have any issues with this shade? Would love to hear your tips!
Thank you!
