An Ultra Facial
It’s been years since I’ve encountered a facial wash that has even come close to competing with Cetaphil as my daily morning cleanser. Well, Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser poses a real threat.
“Made with a unique, non-stripping, sugar-derived foaming agent,” this is a gentle, mild gel cleanser that won’t leave your skin feeling dry. It claims to dissolve “excess oil, dirt and debris without over-drying or stripping” and is “pH-balanced to maintain skin’s natural protective barrier.” The cleanser is chock full of beneficial ingredients including Vitamin E, Avocado Oil, Sweet Almond Oil among others. The cleanser looks very similar to Cetaphil in color, but the texture is thicker. With just a dime-sized amount, it lathers up nicely to cover and cleanse your entire face. However, it doesn’t irritate skin; it’s also unscented, so this product is perfect for just about any skin type. Your skin will be left feeling clean and soft. (If you choose, you can follow up with the Ultra Facial Toner, which is mild, yet effective.) I love how gentle it is on my skin and how it just takes up my A.M. cleansing routine up a notch.
