Neutrogena Triple Moisture

triple_moisture.jpg

My shower is basically a revolving door of shampoos and conditioners, but my loyalty will always lie with one brand in particular: Neutrogena’s Triple Moisture line. It is specially formulated for very dry hair, and it has been great for my hair (which has been Japanese straightened several times, and the constant victim of overzealous blow drying and Chi-ironing). The Triple Moisture line is based on 3 naturally derived extracts: olive, meadowfoam, and sweet almond. These 3 extracts penetrate on all dimensions of the hair strand to deeply moisturize your hair.

My favorite products in this line are the Cream Lather Shampoo, Daily Deep Conditioner, and Deep Recovery Hair Mask. All are incredibly rich and creamy, with a fresh, sweet scent. I find that the Shampoo and Conditioner are gentle enough on my hair to use daily, though your mileage may vary. After every use, my hair always feels so soft and looks so shiny. If your hair is really dry or over-processed, try using the Hair Mask once a week for great results.

I’ve tried some pricier brands that claim to do the same thing that this line does, but to no avail. Why bother anymore when I can find the Triple Moisture products at my local drugstore at an affordable price? I’m obsessed and my hair has never looked better! Check out neutrogena.com for more information on Triple Moisture.

a few months ago you raved about Kerastase Bain Mirroir, which i use (and love). how does this compare?

Hi Kirsten! The Kerastase review was written by another editor, and I’m not sure if she has tried Triple Moisture before. I’ve never tried the Kerastase Reflection products and I don’t color my hair, but I can vouch for Triple Moisture from the perspective of someone who tends to have dry, coarse hair. :)

Hi Kirsten! I wrote about the Kerastase products…and I love them. However, my hair is color-treated, but I wouldn’t categorize it as dry. Unfortunately, I’ve never tried the Triple Moisture line…so I can’t compare! I would say that you should choose between the two, based on 1) your hair type and 2) whether or not it’s color-treated. Hope that helps!
