Round and Round
In college, one of my roommates picked up a pair of gorgeous wooden earrings at an indie designer shopping event, and those earrings garnered comments from just about everyone we knew…as well as some strangers. They became part of her regular accessories rotation – and I regretted not picking up a pair myself.
Well, I was browsing around on Organic Style this week and found these lovely lightweight round earrings that totally remind me of her pair. I love the grain in the wood, along with the simplicity of the round shape. They’re earthy and a little whimsical. Plus, these are “made by a fair trade organization based in Bali Indonesia that helps women create a market for their beautiful handicrafts,” so you’ll feel great knowing that not only do you look fab, but you’ve also helped a good cause!

Charlotte Russe has some emerald green ones for like $4. They’re super cute. I can’t say that CR does something nearly as great for women as Organic Style does, but in a pinch for something cute they’re worth checking out. :)
