Tiers for Flair
Sometimes, I feel that I get stuck in a fashion rut and just need to buy a piece that shakes things up. However, the item still has to be work-appropriate and work through several seasons.
Spice up your spring wardrobe with this Tiered Skirt by Loeffler Randall. What sets this simply black skirt apart is the ruched peplum (i.e. flared ruffle) layer. Don’t you think it’ll make the work day a little bit more fun? Made of 100% cotton, it’s breathable through the spring/ summer months, but would pair nicely with tights for fall/ winter weather. The length (yes, I realize it’s a mini!) might make it only appropriate in more creative work environments, but if paired with flats, I think you could get away with it since 1) it has fairly clean lines and 2) it’s got an air of ladylike sophistication! Pair it with a classic white shirt for day, and if you happen to have a date that night…change into a sparkly tee and you’ll be all set!
