An Intraceuticals Miracle
I recently was treated to a facial by Intraceuticals called “Oxygen Infusions,” which was absolutely one of the most unique skincare experiences of my life. The bonus? My facialist was the truly amazing Michelle Peck a.k.a. Madonna’s facialist. Not only is Michelle sweet and fabulous, but she’s also knowledgeable and extremely talented.
Made for all skin types, Intraceuticals Oxygen Infusions promises to gently “deliver serums composed of antioxidants, amino peptides and nano-hydraters to the skin through oxygen to moisturize, and super hydrate the skin immediately – leaving skin looking and feeling younger with a firming visible lift.”
The treatment is essentially a serum-infused wand that is run over your face slowly. At first, this actually tickles a bit. I couldn’t stop giggling for the first few minutes. Michelle assured me that it’s perfectly normal and that I would adjust easily. (I did.) It just feels like a cold, but targeted blast of air to your face. Your face feels like it’s getting moisturized, but doesn’t feel tight, prodded or irritated – as it may with typical facials. But what you really want to know are the results, right?
First of all, being in my 20′s, I never knew that my skin could actually sag at my age. This treatment will make you think twice. Michelle began by treating only half my face to demonstrate the effectiveness of this treatment. Well, let me tell you…my jaw just about fell on the floor. I could not believe how much it plumped up my skin and made it look radiant. It was like the world’s best face lift, without the surgery or pain.
The half that she hadn’t yet treated, looked extremely tired, dull and quite frankly, a bit droopy. I couldn’t believe it. I just kept saying, “But I’m only in my 20′s! How can my skin look like this?!” Though she reassured me that my skin was actually in great shape, Michelle attributed the loss of collagen and elasticity to damage from pollution, free radicals, etc. — basically, everything that is a result of living in a city. She also stressed the importance of protecting your skin from sun damage. (I vowed to her that I would never leave the house without SPF again.)
Overall, I couldn’t believe what a difference it made – and in only 30 minutes. After I emerged from the completed treatment, my skin had an indescribable glow. (In fact, all my friend kept saying was “Wow, your skin looks so amazing!” and since she also had the treatment, I would say, “You look so good!”) I could not believe my skin could ever look so wonderful. Seriously, this treatment is 100% obsession-worthy – and worthy of going on my list of holy grail beauty treatments.
P.S. If you’re wondering how to maintain the glow at home, Intraceuticals offers a line of products that are similar to the ones used in the facial.

Great post … I love what active oxygen does for your facial skin… and feels fabulous as well. I’d recommend in addition to this treatment you’ve written about, that you try Karin Herzog Via-A-Kombi and/or Oxygen Face which deliver active oxygen to the skin via a skincare product. They’re lovely and very effective. xo
