For the past few years, Estee Lauder has launched limited edition summer scents that always cause a bit of a frenzy. This season, it will definitely be Bronze Goddess. It’s an ideal summer scent. I just received a bottle of the body oil spray a couple weeks ago and I am already 100% addicted to it. (It’s also available as a body lotion and a fragrance.)
The Bronze Goddess scent is composed of:
- Top notes – bergamot, mandarin
- Middle notes – tiare, gardenia, coconut, orange flower, jasmine, magnolia, myrrh
- Base notes – amber, vetiver, caramel, coconut cream
At first spritz, I mostly detected coconut, but as it evolves, the bright citrus along with the creamy amber reveals itself. It’s warm, exotic, energetic and luxurious.
My BF can attest to how much I’m loving this. All I could say for the first ten minutes was: “Omg, this smells SO yummy! Doesn’t it smell like the beach?” while simultaneously sniffing my wrists. He’s remarked that entire rooms in our apartment smells like this scent because I’ve been spraying on everywhere. (Bonus! The body oil is ultra softening and moisturizing, while providing a sheen for glowy skin.) It just makes me feel like I’m lying out on the beach with a chilly, tropical drink in my hand. I guess the best way to describe it is: instant relaxation in a bottle.
I know that I’m going to be wearing this scent from now until September – unless I run out of the bottle since I am spraying it on so often. Hmm, maybe I should go buy a second bottle, just in case…
