Go Eco-Chic with Space NK

With Earth Day right around the corner (April 22), I think we’re all feeling a little bombarded with eco-friendly products lately. Truth be told, I’m about the worst eco-friend out there; if it works for me, I’m happy - whether I saved a tree or not.

So, I was thrilled to find out, courtesy of the Space NK apothecary, that a number of my favorite brands happen to be completely eco-happy. Translation: I can use the products I love without a smidgen of guilt. My Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum, for one thing, is totally eco-friendly. And the Phyto-Dynamic Instant Lifting Facial Gel by Ren that I run to when my skin is having a bad day? Also completely eco-chic! Jurlique, Dr. Hauschka, Huiles & Baumes…who knew all of these fabulous companies were embracing the green way of life?

If that’s not enough for you, Space NK has an entire house line of products that are chock full of natural oils, extracts, and other plant-based goodies, and the packaging is even made from recycled materials. Bonus: they happen to be pretty fabulous! I love the Soulful Bath Oil, which has this amazing, instantly relaxing scent, and the peach kernel and coconut oils do absolutely incredible things for my skin. Their body balms are excellent as well - definitely a step above your average lotion, and the scents are just lovely. The Stillness scent reminds me of stepping right of my favorite yoga class (you know, if I practiced yoga) - a sweet lavender scent, mixed with just a hint of incense. It sounds a little strange, I know, but the combination is oddly sweet and soothing.
