I am the sister of Holly Steele and the daughter of Janice McMillon (the daughter of the women with ALS) our mother use to be a vibriant woman, we describe her as part Oprah and Part Martha Stewart. In less than a year our mother has lost her abilitly to walk, talk, or do anything for herself. I am a renter. so it took a lot for my sister to not only lose her home and walk away from her job to care for our mother, she unselfishly did this alone and cared for our mother 24 hours a day 7 days a week from August 12 until February 14, when I moved to St. Louis. I am trying to keep my apartment in New York, but I have yet to find a job. When i arrived in St. Louis I noted that my sister (who has the entire Victoria’s secret) collection had stop wearing clothes, she was so tired she would throw on a coat and go to the grocery and the pharmacy in her pajamas. She stopped combing her hair and started wearing hats (Even in the house) havind a fatal illness (An ALS patient has a lifespan of 2 -6 years) is bad enough, but I have to wonder, how many people ever think about the caregiver. As I type Holly and I are in Michigan. Since she gave her home back to the bank she has 7 days to retrieve her belongings. After she got off your website I got on, I think she could really use your products, and our mother as well, it really would lift our spirits and we would be happy to supply you with documentation verifying everything stated above. Wow, am I totally dumb? I forgot to explain why I’d like to win. Of course, who wouldn’t want to win so many great prizes. I would especially because I am a teenage girl who, like many other women, feel the pressure to look “attractive.” But not only would I like a self-confidence boost, but I would love to spend a “day at the spa” relaxing, at home.
