A Palette To Covet

Ah, Chanel… I love everything they make - dresses, sunglasses, shoes. And the bags. Oh, the bags… Unfortunately, all of those items are a little out of my price range right now, but this adorable eyeshadow palette from their summer 2008 collection makes up for that a little.

The LUMIÈRES FACETTES Iridescent Effects Eyes in Oasis is a Limited Edition that contains shades of khaki, bronze, coral and pink shimmer. The colors are sheer, but can be layered for more intensity, and they blend beautifully, with a subtle shimmer that’ll make your eyes sparkle without being too overpowering. Add a few coats of mascara and a nude lip to balance out the shimmer and you’ll have the perfect look that can go from a pool party to a night out. Now all I need is a cute bikini and a fruity drink in my hand and the summer will have officially begun.
