Bring The Beach To You

One of the best things about the start of summer is that I can finally start wearing my favorite warm weather scent beach by Bobbi Brown again. (I know that technically there’s nothing stopping me from wearing it in the winter, but it just feels wrong somehow). With a blend of sand jasmine, sea spray, and mandarin, it smells like an ocean breeze, but in a totally light, wearable way. It’s one of the few scents I own that literally makes me smile every time I spray it on (and I’m not even a going to the beach kind of girl!)

To make it even better, now the scent is available in several different varieties that makes it easy to layer the beach fragrance for maximum deliciousness. There’s a limited edition Sandbar Soap, a Body Oil, a Sunscreen Body Spray with SPF 15, a Shower Gel, a Body Scrub and a Body Lotion. That’s so much beach goodness I hardly knew where to start!

I tested out the Sandbar Soap and the Body Lotion and it was the perfect combo to begin with before putting on the beach fragrance. The bar soap lathers up nicely and has sand on one end to exfoliate as it cleans. It left my skin soft and smooth and the beach scent was strong - a nice touch since some soaps seem to lose their fragrance as soon as the water washes them away. Then I applied the Body Lotion, a lightweight moisturizer that uses a blend of oils to hydrate your skin. It also has green tea and Vitamin E for antioxidant protection. I liked the feel of it - it was moisturizing without being greasy - and the beach scent was strong without overpowering me. Once I spritzed the fragrance on top of it, I was good to go (and I could still smell the beach on me 12 hours later!)
