For Lizzy, From Katharine

I recently received the June issue of Lucky in my mail box and when I flipped through, I noticed a gorgeous necklace in their jewelry guide. Guess who made it? One of my favorite jewelry designers, Katharine Sise! I immediately emailed her and asked her for all the details on the necklace so I could write about it.

The Lizzy necklace is named after her two favorite Lizzy’s in her life. “Both would wear this piece well!” says Katharine. The necklace is made of a combination of sterling silver, metal chains and glass pearls. You can also adjust the length of the necklace with the pin (which Katharine uses in many of her designs). Katharine suggests that you can secure it in the back with the pin for a shorter look, or wear the piece “long and loose by pulling one of the layers behind your neck.” I love the femininity of the piece, yet I still think it has a bit of an edge! It would totally transform a silky black sheath into something infinitely sexier. Or maybe dress up a simple white tank and denim on the weekends. Looks like Katharine and I totally think alike, because when I asked her what she’d wear it with, she said, “I would wear this necklace to spice up a black cocktail dress, and the next morning wear it to brunch with jeans, flats and a tank top.”

It’s available in two sizes: small ($238) and large ($295). To order, email Katharine directly – who can even customize the piece with a locket or stone of your choice! To view the Lucky article, click below.
