Summer Jeans
May 5th, 2008 by productwhore

It’s always nice when I can combine one of my true fashion obsessions (jeans) with a worthwhile cause (helping the environment). Joe’s Jeans are already one of my favorite denim lines because of their flattering cuts and colors (I counted five pairs in my closet and I’m fairly sure there’s another pair hiding somewhere), but this month they’re introducing a new organic line that I’m super excited about.
Available in two washes, Cline (a light color) and Olivia (a darker shade), the jeans are made of 100% organic cotton with organic washes and dyes. There are no chemicals in the fabric at all - even the hang tags are made of 100% recycled paper. And for those of you who don’t know much about organic materials and worry that it won’t be comfortable, think again. The jeans are thin (perfect for summer nights) and super soft, which makes them perfect for both lying on the couch watching TV and dressing up for a night out. It looks like I’m going to have to make room in my closet for another pair. The jean obsession continues!
The Cline and Olivia washes will be available starting this month. They retail for $176 and can be found at all stores where Joe’s Jeans are sold (Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, etc.) and at www.joesjeans.com/shop.
