Insider’s Obsessions: Liz Earle

Liz Earle is a pioneer in the world of natural beauty. As the co-founder and creator of the award-winning Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare collection, Liz has a wealth of beauty knowledge; she’s a former beauty editor, an author of over 30 books and an TV presenter. Her line is a cult favorite among makeup artists, models, beauty editors – and us! We can testify that her products leave your skin looking and feeling wonderful. (By the way, a couple of TDO editors have met Liz in person and can we just say that she has the most amazing skin?) So what is Liz passionate about this month? Let’s find out!

ONE. eBay — I am a self-confessed eBay fan and one of the reasons I love this site is that it’s so easy to buy vintage and classic pre-owned clothing. I love the idea of giving good quality garments a new lease of life and it’s the ultimate consumer recycling engine.

TWO. Cards from Africa — I’m a fan of old-fashioned hand-written correspondence and any excuse finds me writing a card to say Thank You, Sorry, Congratulations, Get Well Soon, Thinking of You…. One of my favorite sources of cards is a great online charity called Cards from Africa where you can buy every kind of greetings card beautifully hand-made by orphaned youngsters in Rwanda and all the proceeds go directly to helping to turn around their lives.

THREE. Ecozone Eco Wash Balls – These environmentally friendly alternatives to washing powders and liquids are fantastic – you simply put three of these green plastic balls into your wash load, and voila! Clean clothes. I find they’re great for my children’s sensitive skins as they don’t leave any detergent residues behind.

FOUR. Cleanse & Polish by Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare — This award wining cleanser is adored by make up artists and models alike and is my absolute must have product that I depend on for fabulous, healthy skin.

FIVE. Kinara — The ultimate mecca for luxurious spa treatments and pure indulgence, Kinara will always be part of my LA itinerary whenever I visit!
