Miss Oops To The Rescue
I’m a total klutz. I can fall UP stairs and if I’m wearing a light color, I’m guaranteed to spill on it. That’s just the way it is and even though it’s annoying, I’ve kind of gotten used to it. But it’s still nice to know that when one of life’s little annoyances happens, I can rely on new and inventive products like Miss Oops to get me though it.
Mother and entrepreneur Jennifer Higgins created Miss Oops to help busy women take care of the little problems that creep up on everyone. Says Jennifer, “I realized there were all these little snafus that take up women’s time, whether they’re scrambling to change outfits to hide a flaw or just worrying about how they look. I tested out several of the Miss Oops products recently and here are my favorites:
- Pucker Protector ($14) – This lip conditioner has all the hydrating effects of a balm and the shine of a gloss, so you can wear it alone or over a lipstick. The formula of salicylic acid, moisturizing petroleum, and sunscreen is long-lasting and best of all, smells like mint so it’s an instant pick me up.
- Rescue Sponge ($10) – These little red 3″ by 3″ sponges are genius. I don’t know about everyone else, but I find that even if I’m using a supposedly clear deodorant AND wait for it to dry, residue still gets on my clothes. It annoys me every single time. These sponges easily wipe it off without leaving a stain and their scalloped edges let you reach any area you need to get to. The sponges also take away makeup powder and baby powder and they’re small enough to throw in your purse for any emergencies on the road.
- Pedicure In A Bottle ($18) – On the long list of things to take care of, my feet sometimes get overlooked until I glance down one day and realize that they need some serious attention. This all-in-one formula is made with shea butter, salicylic acid, peppermint, menthol and lavender and made my feet sandal worthy again. It exfoliates your feet while smoothing and hydrating them and it smells amazing. Best of all – it doesn’t leave my feet so slippery that I’ll slide and go flying across the room after I put it on – a definite bonus!
