Hope in a Jar… and SPF!
How do you improve one of the best and most well-known moisturizers ever? That’s easy–just add SPF! philosophy’s hope in a jar spf 20 is the same great hydrating moisturizer, but with broad spectrum sun protection in the form of SPF 20. I didn’t think there was much noticeable change from the original formula in terms of texture or scent. It felt only slightly heavier, which I think is a good trade-off for sun protection. hope in a jar spf 20 is still very moisturizing and provides a glow to my face every day without clogging pores. It’s the perfect moisturizer for someone like me, a person regularly forgets the sunscreen in the morning.
To see how effective hope in a jar spf 20 can be, I decided to test it against the hot Chicago summer sun. I went to Lollapalooza to see Radiohead (amazing), and then went to a Cubs game the next afternoon, applying both days. The overall weekend damage? None! In fact, I probably should have put some on my now burnt and peeling shoulders. hope in a jar spf 20 retails for $45 (2 oz).

Wow, that’s pretty amazing…I’ve never been able to get away without any damage after a full day in the sun (even with re-application)! I guess I’ll need to pick this up!
I just wanted to add another location where hope in a jar spf 20 helped me through without burning – the Acropolis! I managed to climb up there on a hot day in Athens and emerge un-burnt :)
