Whenever La Mer introduces a new product, I can’t wait to try it because let’s face it, there’s a reason La Mer has so many fans – their products are expensive, but totally worth it. And if you’re a fan of their Crème de la Mer, you’re really going to want to get your hands on their new skin care treatment, The Hydrating Infusion. Full of vitamins and minerals, The Hydrating Infusion is made to pre-wet your skin to receive and enhance the benefits of Crème de la Mer.

The Hydrating Infusion has a texture that resembles a serum in the bottle, but it transforms into a watery liquid when you put it on. The formula has an interactive gel network that suspends the vital ingredients and releases them when you skin needs it (how space age is that?) Once it’s on, it’s activated by your skin’s pH and temperature to give it the hydration and nutrients that it’s craving. Paired with Crème de la Mer, it helps to reverse the visible signs of aging by making skin softer, firmer and creaseless. (Although I’ve been using it with my regular moisturizer because my budget right now is not quite at the Crème de la Mer level and I still find that it’s making my skin softer and a little brighter than usual). I’ll definitely be applying this the recommended twice a day until my bottle is gone – maybe by the time it’s done, I’ll look like I’m in high school again!
