Melange Apothecary

Lately I’ve been trying to experiment with different scents as a way to keep myself from, well, smelling like the same perfume everyday. That’s why I was excited to try some fun, new scents from Melange Apothecary, a veritable candy shop of fragrances. With a retail location in California stocked with scents and oils, Melange aims to make the process of blending and discovering new fragrances an enjoyable experience.
From their vast perfume selection, I tried a few of their Concrete Parfums (solid fragrances, $10 each) and Parfum Concentrates (roll-ons, $18 each). I enjoy these small sizes because they’re convenient for traveling and I can tuck them away in my bag. At these price points, you could even try blending more than one fragrance and switch between wearing them on their own as well. I really liked the Tuberose Concrete Parfum; it’s an exotic floral that really has rich notes. I was also surprised at how much I enjoyed their Citrus and Fruit Blend Parfum Concentrates. I’m normally not a fan of citrus-y perfumes, but the Grapefruit & Pomegranate blend had a deep tartness that left me wanting to try more.
