Modern Matte
Clinique launched a beautiful collection of matte colors for fall, appropriately named “Modern Matte.” This collection is full of not only gorgeous colors, but also fantastic formulations to maximize each product’s effectiveness and wear.
My favorite product from the collection is the High Impact Lip Colour SPF 15. Launched this month, this is a gorgeous lip product made for everyday use. It aims to protect our lips from UV damage (we often forget about the lips, even though we may use SPF everywhere else!), while giving brilliant long-lasting color. It contains “a blend of intense moisturizers, like Pomegranate Steros and Astrocaryum” while polymers and non-migrating esters hold color in place. It also includes silicone in its formulation, for a smooth, creamy finish. I adore the shade called Rosette, which is a lovely rosy pink hue that I could wear anytime of the year. Just finish with the new Defining Liner for Lips!
