Opposites Attract

My pet peeve with any sort of hair product is when I can still feel it in my hair after I’ve rubbed it in.  I have a violent dislike for crunchy hair.  (It reminds me of the ’80′s and I think we can all agree that ’80′s hair is best left in the past).  Aussie’s new Opposites Attract line was created to give hair all of the hold it needs while letting it stay soft and touchable, and I’m happy to say that it really does the job well.iconicon

The Opposites Attract shampoo and conditioner left my hair clean and shining and they both smell great (bonus!)  I especially liked the conditioner – it has ingredients like Wild Cherry Bark Extract and Mango Fruit Extract that left my hair totally knot free (not always easy with my long hair!)  I’ve also been using the Spray Gel; I’m not a huge fan of gel usually, but the spray kind distributes a lot more evenly and I find that it gives my hair more hold when I put it up in a ponytail than if I didn’t use any product at all.  The line also includes a Styling Mousse and Hair Spray, so no matter what length of hair you have or what style you’d like to put it in, you’re bound to find a product to help it stay perfect without giving you stiff, helmet hair.iconicon

The line is widely available at food, drug and mass market retailers nationwide, as well as online at drugstore.com. Even better, each product retails for the bargain price of $3.99.  Soft, touchable hair for less than $4?  Sign me up!iconicon

I love cheap, but excellent hair products. You got me at the knot-free cherry bark extract and mango conditioner bit. I want to try this!

I travel to Australia a few times a year and always marvel at how good their drugstore (they call it “chemist” down under) beauty products smell.
