PedEgg

Summer does not treat my heels kindly, as I spend the majority of the season in sandals. However, I’m totally ashamed about the state of my heels – especially when I’m good friends with bloggers like Sara from Bit by the Beauty Bug, who I know is very diligent when it comes to her pedicures and that sort of maintenance. All I have to say is…thank goodness for the PedEgg!
I’ve been fascinated by (and also simultaneously slightly grossed out by) the infomercials for this innovative foot file. I finally caved and tried it after hearing rave reviews. This is fantastic for lazy people like me. Every week or so, I can use this to slough off the dead skin cells on my heels – and voila! I have smooth heels again. Here’s how it works:
The PedEgg is ergonomically designed, so it fits perfectly in your hand. One side features the file, which resembles a mini-grater like the one you would find in your kitchen. You slightly slide it over the desired area and off comes the dead skin into the rounded top. Just be careful and make sure not to tip it sideways, because the “shavings” can fall out. When you’re done, finish with the emery file provided.
Five or ten minutes every week or two, and your feet will stay smooth and soft. It’s so little effort for great results. (I will say this though: if you actually are good about your maintenance or visit the salon often, I foresee that you will only need to use this once every couple months.) It’s saving my feet this summer – and probably will continue to do so year-round.

I so almost picked one of these up last night. I don’t know what’s stopping me, LOL, but I chickened out. Thanks for a great review!
