Switching it Up

Designed by Lulu Philips, Switchflops are flip flops that let you change the design of the straps. The concept seems simple enough and it certainly is fun being able to switch up your look depending on your mood. However, I can tell you that is not what got me hooked on these shoes. It’s because these are possibly the most comfortable pair of flip flops I’ve ever worn! Switchflops are designed with a slightly thicker sole. This makes the shoes last a long time, but also provides incredible cushion for your feet. They also have flat and wide straps which do not dig into the top of your foot. I wear these almost every day walking around Manhattan and have never had a problem (as compared to my Havianas, where I had to end up covering my feet with bandages). And of course, the assortment of straps means everyone can find something they like.
Switchflops also come in a cute wedge form, which surprisingly, is also easy to walk in. On days when I feel like I want an extra height boost or just some added fun, I reach for my wedges. The flops come in black, brown and tan and the straps come in almost whatever you want. Check them out at Switchflops official site.

These look an awful lot like FitFlops! I’d be interested to see which came first.
