A Peace Treaty is a collection of beautiful, hand-crafted scarves and accessories from designers Farah Malik and Dana Arbib. The story behind the brand is compelling, as Farah Malik is a Pakistani Muslim and Dana Arbib is a Libyan Jew. A Peace Treaty is a personal treaty between the two designers, and they employ skilled artisans from areas of strife and instability. The scarves are high quality, with luxurious hand-loomed cotton fabrics and hand-knotted tassels.
My favorites in the collection are pictured above. Starting from left is the Shangri-La Scarf, with teal, Prussian blue, turquoise, and lilac stripes. I love the pretty combination of shades of blues. Pictured center is the Aviv Scarf, which has an incredibly rich coral color. It looks so brilliantly bold with its large coral, gray, and orange block stripes. Lastly, the Thebes Scarf is perfect if you’re looking for a more conservative pattern. It’s a high contrast, and still totally pretty, dark blue and white woven plaid.
I can’t wait to see more designs from A Peace Treaty. You can find their scarves at revolveclothing.com, and if you need some new ideas and inspiration, be sure to read our tips on how to wear scarves year-round!
