Liz Libré is the founder and designer behind the fabulous paper goods label, Linda & Harriett. We’re beyond obsessed with their fresh and fun designs, and if you don’t already own something from their line, you need to place an order – stat! Liz is super sweet, gorgeous and talented, with a great eye for all things beautiful; she was gracious enough to take time out of her busy schedule to tell us about her latest obsessions…which we are all obsessing over now, too!
ONE. Linda & Harriett Notepads — It’s funny saying something I make is an obsession of mine – but I truly am nutty for notepads! I have four different designs on my desk at all times – each one with different tasks. Unlike a pretty piece of letterpress stationery, there is little commitment to the notepad piece of paper, so I don’t feel as badly scratching out or tearing off.
TWO. The Migis Lodge in Maine — My husband John and I met at Bates College in Maine. We got married in Maine and often think about picking up and moving there. I love Maine. There is not a more beautiful place to be in the world than Maine in the Fall. On our first year anniversary, we stayed at Migis Lodge – a top notch little piece of heaven in the woods of Maine.
THREE. Birkenstock Sandals — You will very rarely see me in heels. I’m already 5’9″, I don’t need to be much taller. And I find heels mostly uncomfortable. Plus, I work for myself, so I get to wear whatever I want on my feet! I wear these silver ones almost every day.
FOUR. Tarte Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride — My only makeup for years has been this cheek stain. Just a little gives me that dewy summery look and makes me feel alive when the winter banishes all color from my skin.
FIVE. Pens — Two kinds for two uses: 1) Uniball Vision Pens for all day use in the studio and on the go. They are with me at all times. 2) Le Pen pens for writing letters. The color variety is top notch and the sleek design makes me feel chic. Ah, the simple pleasures!
