Urban Decay’s Fall Collection

There’s so many reasons to love fall, but one of the best is all the new makeup collections. Just when I’m totally sick of all my summer makeup, along come the darker colors of autumn and all is well with the world again.

Urban Decay’s fall collection centers around their new lipsticks. Available in 21 different shades, you can get anything from deep red to bright pink and all the colors in between. The shades range in texture from cream to high shine to shimmer, and they all have almost a lip balm feel to them, with vitamins A, C and E in them. The case is different too – heavier than an ordinary lipstick, it’s engraved with Urban Decay’s signature graphic swirls and has a mini gunmetal dagger on the bottom end.

Matte eye shadows are big right now and for fall, Urban Decay adds three new colors to their already extensive lineup. Electric (an electric blue), Shakedown (a medium brown) and Heist (a neutral taupe) can be used separately or paired together. (If you’re planning to use them together, Urban Decay suggests Electric on the lid, Heist in the crease, and Shakedown as a liner). The shadows are rich in pigment, so they have great staying power, and they can be used wet or dry to create a variety of different looks.
