Fall For DuWop
When I think of DuWop, the first thing that comes to mind is their classic Lip Venom. For all of you lip plumper fans who haven’t tried it yet, I can’t recommend it enough. Recently, I got the chance to try some of their new products for fall and the good news is, I love them every bit as much!
Their newest addition to the Lip Venom line is Pure Venom ($24). Available in Pure Nude and Pure Berry, it’s a lip plumping stain that’s completely natural and contains an organic version of the essential oil blend from the Lip Venom. The thing I hate about most lip stains is that they dry my lips out, but these stains are super moisturizing, so there’s no need to
carry a separate gloss with you. They’re 100% natural and 90% organic, and for those of you who are scared of lip plumpers, don’t worry – this is one of DuWop’s lighter plumpers, so the tingle isn’t strong enough to scare you away.
Also new for fall are the Eyecatchers, a set of four brightly colored eyeliners that use basic color theory to enhance every different eye color. I tested out the Green Eye Intensifier, which is a Burgundy Plum with bronze flecks. I’m not usually a purple shadow kind of girl, but I have to admit, this shade definitely helped my eyes to stand out and the formula didn’t irritate my sometimes sensitive eyes at all. (The formula is non-comedogenic, water-resistant and completely smudge-proof, too). At $18.50, it’s the perfect portable eyeliner to throw in your bag to transition from day to night.
I also checked out DuWop’s new Crush Metallic Eyeshadow trio ($24). Metallics are all the rage this fall and this shadow palette has gorgeous jewel tones. It contains a rich burgundy plum, a pale, champagne rose, and a bronzy gold. (I know it doesn’t sound like those three shades go together, but trust me, they do). The formula can be used as a shadow or a liner – I’ve been using the bronze shade as a liner with the champagne color on my lids and a nude lip and I love the way it looks.
