We adore the red bejeweled compacts from the Passionately Red and Passions of Red collections. Each compact is made of deep red snakeskin-embossed metal with a fun red rectangular jewel in the middle. Our favorite of the bunch is the “Fascinating Ruby,” which features three plum lip hues: Lipstick in Marvel, Lipstick in Insinuate, and Lipglass in Mutual Attraction.
We also can’t get enough of MAC brushes. They’re a fabulous item to gift because so few women actually indulge in those during the year. The Adoring Carmine collection offers sets with 4 Face Brushes and 5 Eye Brushes, but we recommend the 5 Basic Brushes. The brushes are housed in a lovely medium-sized round brush satin bag.
If you want to pick single items, go for the “Red” She Said collection. This collection brings back the fabulous Dazzleglasses, which we are totally in love with for its high-impact shimmer. Our other choice is the stunning Mineralize Eye Shadow, which contains three shades in one. There are some brilliant combinations, like Persuasive (frosty light blue/ silver pearl stripe/ frosty indigo) and Interview (frosty deep navy/ copper pearl stripe/ frosty bronzy brown).
