Tocca Brigitte
I only recently had the chance to try the newest scent from Tocca: Brigitte, inspired by Ms. Bardot herself in her free-spirited heyday. Brigitte is a fresh, floral scent with an Oriental twist of ginger and saffron notes. Although there are fruit notes, I didn’t find it to be overwhelmingly fruity. The fruit notes lend a certain sweetness, but what initially grabs you is the subtle spice of the ginger and saffron notes. After the initial dry down, what stays with you through the day is the sweetly floral scent that is not powdery at all.
- Top notes: rhubarb, papaya
- Middle/heart notes: ginger, rose, iris, saffron
- Bottom notes: sandalwood, musk
For me, Brigitte is a day to night scent that I’m comfortable wearing everyday to work and out for drinks afterward. I also love the simple sophistication of Tocca packaging. The bottle is gorgeous with its heavy brass cap, and I’m having trouble throwing the box away with its pretty etchings. Try it for yourself at Sephora!

I’ve sold all of the Tocca Fragrances as well as many other indie type fragrances. Brigitte is on of my favorites! My other favorite is Mimosa by Calypso. I think this fragrance will be around to stay .It’s been one of the hottest new ones this fall!
