Very Couture
On the runways this season, Givenchy was all about the color black accented with silver metal grommets. (And as someone who wears black all the time, I totally loved the look). Now you can take a little piece of the runway home with you with the Very Couture Palette, part of Givenchy’s Holiday 2008 collection.
On the outside, this case is motorcycle-chic (or as Givenchy calls it, “uptown-urban”). But once you open it, you’ll find makeup that any girl would covet. It comes with an eyeshadow quad that’s made up of feminine pinks and purples, a fresh pink lip gloss that’s color coordinated to perfectly accent the shadows, a face powder, a blush, and a mini mascara. (Although I’ve been loving their Phenomen’Eyes mascara, so I totally recommend carrying that with you as well.) It also comes with smaller, travel-sized deluxe applicator brushes so you can apply all of the shades while you’re on the go. I love palettes that include so many different products in one package; you can just throw this in your suitcase and know that an entire look can be put together with it. It’s like a makeover in one little bag! (I especially like the idea of keeping it in my car, just in case I get invited to any last minute holiday parties during the day).
