Very Pretty
When I heard that Michael Kors was coming out with a new, floral interpretation of his original Sheer fragrance, I was excited to try it. I’ve rarely been let down by anything Michael Kors has done and that streak continues with the new Very Pretty. It takes the well known essence of Michael Kors and adds Jasmine, Bergamot, and Sandalwood to it, which gives the scent a fuller (and to me) sexier, touch. It has a floral base, with notes of Dewy Freesia, Tamarind, Fresh Tuberose and White Wings Peony, among others, but it also has crisp citrus notes that give the scent a clean feeling. It’s not heavy or overwhelming, like some scents with Musk can be. What I love about it is the addition of coconut to the mix – it’s an interesting and unexpected combination that totally works for me. It gives the scent an unexpected burst of the exotic tropics and makes it diferent from the many floral fragrances currently sitting on top of my dresser. I’m also a big fan of the bottle – it comes adorned with Swarovski crystals and packed into a sparkle-kissed folding carton. It’s affordable luxury!
Very Pretty is a limited edition scent, so act quickly before you miss your chance. A 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum Spray retails for $75 and can be found on Sephora.com.
