Bath & Body, HomeArt Basel at Home

Today is the coldest day of the year in New York and I can’t stop thinking about Miami.  Seriously, when can I take another trip?

To tide me over until the next time I hit South Beach and to wrap up in this chilly air, I’ve been using my oversize Art Basel towel, which I love, love, love! These oversize terry cotton towels are huge – 60 x 70 and sooo soft (no prewashing required).  Plus, they don’t pill or leave fuzzies so you can enjoy your art without worrying about a mess.

My favorite is this one by Karen Kilimnik, which brings the beach to me even when I’m stuck in a cold apartment. Each towel retails for $50 at Target making this a perfect last minute holiday present, but one lucky TDO reader will score one for free in a one day only giveaway.  In the comments below, please tell me the next beach you plan to hit and use these towels at.  We’re also planning our next beach trip and would love some ideas.  Contest closes tomorrow at noon EST. Only US entries with valid e-mail addresses please.

No plans on a beach trip anytime soon – but this would sure be nice to pretend with! I can lay it out in the bedroom and plug in the old heat lamp and just envision myself at the beach!

Nothing better than a beautiful Art Basel towel to keep me company on my first solo trip! I would love it to join me on the beaches of Brazil or The Galapagos Islands… still trying to decide between the 2! If anyone has input into either, that would be fab :)

I think a georgeous beach towel makes even lounging at the neighbors’ pool stylish and chic! But I would also take this with me on my annual summer vaca to Martha’s Vineyard, or Folly Beach in Charleston, SC. Or maybe when I head back to Elbow Beach in Bermuda, which has to be one of the most relaxing and beautiful beaches in the world. And it’s a must have for my trip to Macau next year.

My boyfriend and I are going to St. Petersburg, Florida, next summer to catch a Red Sox-Rays game on our anniversary. I’d love to lounge on the Gulf beaches on this towel, but it will cheer me up through a long cold Boston winter in the meantime!
