Buji Bijoux

Buji Bijoux jewelry is described as “where East meets West, playfulness meets sophistication, and nature meets city chic.” Designer May Chen’s collections are classic and graceful, with a simplicity that makes them utterly wearable – and totally gorgeous. I recently discovered this line and while I could easily see myself wearing the majority of her pieces, these are the few that I’m coveting the most right now.
The Starry Night collection gives a new interpretation to the classic filigree technique through light-handed spiral patterning. The result is delicate designs that are perfect for day or night. I’m loving the Catch of the Night Pressed Stars necklace. Available in both gold-plated sterling silver and antiqued sterling silver, the tri-petalled necklace is different and interesting. The spirals almost look like they’re in a flower, but the swirls are so unique, you can’t help but look twice at it. It’s a piece that I would wear with my hair up to make sure to show it off. And as long as I’m wearing my hair up… I might as well have on the other item that I’m also slightly obsessed with – the Catch of the Night Circled Star earrings. Also available in both gold-plated sterling silver and antiqued sterling silver, these swirl post earrings are the perfect complement to the Pressed Stars necklace.
The other piece that I’m dying to have in my jewelry box is the Night and Day necklace. This gold-plated sterling silver necklace has three strands, with little circle and moon pendants dangling delicately from the chain. I love that it doesn’t look like anything else I already have in my jewelry wardrobe, but at the same time, I could totally throw it on with a cute shirt and jeans to dress them up. (I wear that combo a lot and am always looking for ways to make the simple outfit stand out).
