Louis Vuitton Loves Stephen Sprouse
Louis Vuitton’s new Stephen Sprouse collection hits stores tomorrow, and I’ll be stopping by the flagship store early in the morning to check it out. Marc Jacob’s Sprouse inspired collection returns almost a decade after the their collaboration created the graffiti print that caused a sensation by defacing the LV logo. The neon motif will be featured on the Vuitton Speedy, Keepall, Neverfull, wallets, small leather purses, as well as sneakers, shoes, sunglasses, headbands and select features in the Ready-To-Wear collection. The Day-Glo effect may be a little much for me right now, though they do provide the needed pop of color during these dreary times. Instead, I have my eye on the rose print Pochette that will be retailing for $500 – an easy way to own a piece of this special Tribute Collection.
The collection can be viewed at WeLoveSprouse.com. But also stay tuned on TDO because tonight I’m heading to the Tribute Exhibition and After Party hosted by Marc Jacobs and CEO Yves Carcelle. I certainly caught an eyeful of Marc in this month’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar and can we say I am e-x-c-i-t-e-d to see him. And pictures. We’ll have lots of pictures. Invite below the cut.
