Sometimes You Just Need a Nut

Living in a New York City apartment means that my living space is restricted, and this is especially true in my bathroom, which I share with 2 other people.  We have one lone medicine cabinet in our bathroom, and due to these space constraints, any product that I put in there gets upgraded to VIP status.  My newest addition to my medicine cabinet VIP status is Ole Henriksen Walnut Complexion Scrub.

My skin has been feeling the brunt of a harsh, cold winter, so it has needed a lot more exfoliation than normal, and the Walnut Complexion Scrub has delivered some much needed solace to my skin.  The scrub is composed of finely milled walnut fragments, in a smooth, gliding base, including aloe vera gel, chamomile, and comfrey extract, with a vaguely nutty fragrance.

Because of the smoothness of the base and the fineness of the fragments, the scrub is extremely gentle and recommended for all skin types.  After scouring my face with this product, I felt like a layer of dead skin had been magically and gently removed from my face.  My face felt as smooth as silk, and I was so incredulous with the results, that I actually kept touching it with my hand.  My roommate who spotted this in the bathroom, tried this product as well and raved similarly about the results.

The Ole Henrikson Walnut Complexion Scrub retails for $24 and can be found at sephora.com.
