Getting Buff
My love for Elemis products grows every time I try something new from the line. Back in the day when the line first came to the US, I sampled a few things, but now I’ve gotten overwhelmed by the wide range of products from the brand (truly a solution for every skin type!). I ran into trouble when I started using the wrong things for my face, so it was a good thing that I had that Elemis facial and evaluation at Bergdorf’s last month and the aesthetician set me straight on what I really needed.
One thing she prescribed to help me clear up some of the congestion from using the wrong products as well as regular maintenance is the Elemis Skin Buff, a product that has since not left the coveted spot in my shower rack – right next to my shampoo and razor. This exfoliator is ultra fine, which makes it painless to use and really gets down to fixing all your skin problems. Dry patches? Gone. Weird bumps? Smoothed over. Clogged pores? Cleared up. Skin instantly feels like porcelain. I often shy away from exfoliating because of the mess factor. I can never get it completely off my face and I am not a fan of whatever base a lot of exfoliants use which leave my skin with a layer of…stuff. Elemis has none of that. It’s straight up buffing micro-beads that get the job done and then washes right off. No mess no fuss and certainly no residue. Which is why this is the only exfoliator I’ve used more than once in the past 3 years.
