Slouchy Bootie

I was introduced to the shoe designer, Tashkent by Cheyenne, last fall and ever since, I’ve been eyeing these Collette Gathered Ankle Booties. I was drawn to them for their sophisticated slouchy, yet artistic hip look. Designer Cheyenne Morris uses gorgeous Italian leather and craftmanship in all of her shoes, while marrying them with an urban aesthetic. These suede ankle booties are no different. With a comfy shearling footbed, they have cutout detailing at the sides and an ankle tie at the back. These details make them modern, edgy and on trend. I really think they’d be fabulous with an above-the-knee skirt, basic tee and cropped leather jacket.

These boots come in three hues (that I know of): black, gray and purple. Though black is totally versatile, I find myself loving the gray. The bold purple is also stunning, but in terms of my own personal style, I know that they wouldn’t be worn as much a gray or black pair. (Cheers to anyone who has the confidence to rock the purple!)
