Banana Republic Rosewood

I noticed during a recent shopping trip that Banana Republic had noticeably expanded its fragrance selection. After spraying all the different scents, waving around samples in the air, and testing them all, I’ve found my favorite one. It’s called Rosewood, and it’s a very romantic floral with amber tones. I found myself really liking the natural wood packaging and the pretty pink bottle for its simple, sophisticated look. And despite a headier, powdery floral feel upon first spray, the dry down was subtly sweet and alluring. The warm tones of the bergamot champagne and white tea leaves began to blossom, and that’s what lingered on my skin.

Be sure to check out Rosewood the next time you’re by a BR store, or you can do some browsing on bananarepublic.com — a mini EDP of Rosewood is available for $10!

Oh wow! $10 USD for a mini? cool! I wanna try it. Nice Blog btw… :)

That is the perfume I am currently wearing! I love it. I discovered it when in Chicago a year ago.

Hi Lyndsay – Thanks, the mini size is a great buy, especially if you tend to cycle through fragrances like I do.

Christina, thanks for commenting and I’m glad to hear you love it too!

I love love LOVE this fragrance– I’ve used it for a year and it’s perfect for most occasions, subtle enough (with proper application for work), sweet enough for a date. Fabulous. And up until now, I’ve not risked the dreaded smelling-just-like-someone-else! Alas, it will likely be more popular now, but still glad to see it getting the credit it deserves. Worth noting that the lotions go on 30-40% off sale on body products occasionally.
