Sandal Crew

J.Crew is always a great source for fabulous fashion and I’m also happy to report that their prices are much more reasonable these days. I’ve been itching to get new sandals and thus, scouted some gorgeous options from J.Crew that I think you would enjoy, too!

First up is the Rimini Sandal (which by the way, are happily in my closet now). This strappy sandal is made of gorgeous leather and features a ton of metal buckles, all adjustable to fit the width of your foot. I love this because it’s a more modern, delicate take on the gladiator trend.  They look fantastic with a pair of shorts, yet pairs well with my favorite shirtdress, too. As cute as they look in the photo, they look even better in person, so scoop them up asap especially since they’re on sale for $50 right now. (Tip: If you are in between sizes, go down a size as these tend to run big.)

J.Crew’s other take on the gladiator sandals is the Danielle Leather Flat Sandals. Get them in tumbled or vachetta leather, these are a bolder, but stunning way to partake on this trend.  It features domed studs and an O-ring center – but what you will enjoy the most is the ultra-soft leather that is oh-so-comfy for your feet.

For some Grecian inspiration (perfect if you’re making a visit to a Mediterranean town this summer), I’m loving these Athena Wrap Sandals in stonewashed leather, lending a worn in look. They are a new take on the J.Crew Athena Capri Sandals that both Carolyn and I bought two summers ago. They will look fabulous wrapped around the ankles and the tiny tassels at the end of the leather ties are a subtle tap into the fringe sandal trend.

If you’re looking for something casual, I can’t recommend the Fiona Two-Color T-Strap Sandals enough. These are going to take you everywhere from the farmer’s market to the beach.  The contrasting leather is unexpected, yet ultra gorgeous.  I plan on making these an addition to my shoe collection at some point this season as well.  If you need something more glam (perhaps for a wedding party), go for the Magdalene Strappy Flats. Take your pick of stonewashed leather or metallics, but either way the strappy sandals would look pretty whether you are wearing jeans or a cocktail frock.
