Flight of Fancy
While browsing the photos of some of my friends on Facebook, I was instantly smitten with headband envy when I saw one of my old college friends wearing the cutest feather headband. This headband is more bohemian inspired, free spirited Serena van der Woodsen, than rigid Blair Waldorf.
Although Urban Outfitters offers the headband in a variety of styles, my favorite are those with a thin diameter, and a small spray of peacock feathers. I chose the headband in a black color, which blended in effortlessly into my hair, making the feathers face framing and the main focal point of the look. I find that the band looks best with slightly, tousled wavy hair, as the feather headband does have a slight vintage inspired feel to it. I like to wear mine on weekends to add some style to a weekend jeans and white tshirt outfit.
