Guess What I’m Wearing

If you’re looking for a flirty new scent, GUESS by Marciano is one you’re going to want to check out. They call it a “spicy floral” and I have to admit, all these flowery scents I’m liking lately are making me question my previous notion that I don’t like floral fragrances! (Although none of them are straight up florals, which is probably why).

GUESS by Marciano has some really interesting notes in it. The top notes are Star Fruit, Grapefruit, Curacao Orange, and Cardamon, and the base notes are Musk, Dulche de Leche, Vanilla and Blonde Wood. The middle is where the floral notes come into play – Pink Honeysuckle, Peony, and Crystal Jasmine – so they’re not overpowering. If I was to describe this scent to someone, I would definitely use the word intoxicating. For me, it just seems like a night time fragrance with the Musk note lingering on my skin. It’s something that I would want a cute boy I was flirting with to lean in and smell when we were talking – it’s sexy, but not overpowering, and I find that the citrus notes stand out to me as well. The nice thing is that the scent also comes in a cologne that smells sort of similar (but obviously a touch more masculine!) so if you like the scent, you can get that version for the man in your life. (The cologne has a dry down of musk too, but is called a “woody oriental” and has notes of Lavender, Frozen Ginger Mandarin, and Amber).

Who knew when I was obsessing over my GUESS jeans in high school that I’d still be talking about their products this many years later?
