I Crave Design

We heard from our friends at the W Hotels that the new Hoboken property opened recently to great acclaim. I haven’t been yet but have already heard a lot of buzz about The Chandelier Room, the new area hotspot created by the EMM Group of Meatpacking’s Tenjune fame.

One of my favorite things to do is look up pictures of new and pretty spaces, hence making our dining & nightlife section one of my favorites on the site. My curiousity about The Chandelier Room set me on a Googling spree that uncovered the portfolio of their design team: ICRAVE. As it turns out, they are the creative brains behind some of TDO editors’ favorite spots including: STK, One Sunset, Koi, and Tenjune among others. They also did the W VIP Lounge (above) for the last couple New York Fashion Weeks- where I was practically every day in between the shows. Anyone who has flown through JetBlue’s new Terminal 5 in JFK will also recognize ICRAVE’s stylish work.

I’ve been hearing that the Chandelier Room is especially amazing so I’ll be reporting back after I head over for drinks next week. In the meantime, if you’re looking for design inspiration like me, check out the gorgeous photos on their site.
