Insider’s Obsessions: Kerry Diamond

We are beyond thrilled that Kerry Diamond is featured as the beauty insider for our series this month.  Kerry is the vice president of public relations at Lancôme, and previously, she was the beauty director at Harper’s Bazaar, the founder of WWD Beauty Biz and the author of Kevyn Aucoin: A Beautiful Life.  Not only is she completely stunning and gorgeous, she’s also incredibly generous, truly lovely and so nice. (Trust us, we’ve had the honor of meeting her!) Below the cut, Kerry dishes about her latest obsessions so make sure to check them out.

ONE. Paris — I visited for the first time when I was 20 years old and I go back as often as I can. I love everything about it, from the metro to the Eiffel Tower. It’s probably no accident that I work for a French company headquartered in Paris. My French is terrible, otherwise I’d probably move there.

TWO. Lancôme Juicy Tubes — I own a ridiculous number of Juicy Tubes, but it really is the best lip gloss around. I can’t wait for the Juicy Tube PURE collection to launch in April. They’re our first natural Juicy Tubes. Even though I do P.R. for Lancôme, I sometimes have to wait like everyone else!

THREE. Macaroons — I have no idea how this began. I think I read about Pierre Hermé, the macaroon king of Paris, and I was intrigued. I had a big birthday this month and my boyfriend ordered a cake made out of macaroons for me. He’s a keeper.

FOUR. Dresses — Anything by YSL, Thakoon, Peter Som, Zero Maria Cornejo, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Chris Benz. I feel like an alien when I wear pants, maybe because I wore a school uniform for 12 years. My current fave is this pink one from Thakoon with a rose print by the artist Laurie Simmons.

FIVE. The Royal Tenenbaums — Is there a better movie? Every frame is amazing and the Alec Baldwin voiceover is brilliant. I’m a big J.D. Salinger fan and this seems like one of his books updated and adapted for film.

Thanks so much for sharing your obsessions with us, Kerry! We loved them!  To find out more info about Kerry Diamond and Lancome, please visit lancome.com or head over to Kerry’s blog at thelancomeblog.blogspot.com.
