ONE.  Anya Hindmarch Jackson Bag — I’d love a new bag for spring and lately, I’ve been eyeing this gorgeous tan glace leather one.  I love the geometric lock, retro vibe and buttery leather.  It costs $1,150, so I can pretty much say that this bag will only be featured a closet in my dreams, sadly not in reality.  - Connie

TWO. KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixer — I’m a klutz in the kitchen and my cooking skills leave a lot to be desired. Still, I’m trying to learn more about cooking and this KitchenAid Stand Mixer is pretty much the gold standard of appliances. It comes in an array of colors to match your kitchen (Blue Willow or Cobalt Blue would match mine!) and not only mixes, but can grind, blend, and shred to your heart’s content with the different attachments available. At $300, it is definitely an investment though – so maybe I’ll wait till I’m bit more of an accomplished chef! – Nina

THREE. Diane von Fursternberg Lab Coat — Perhaps it’s subliminal from watching Whitney “work” on The City every week, but I have been really into the looks this spring from Diane von Furstenberg.  Currently, I am completely infatuated with this candy striped coat.  The color mix is vibrant and not too sweet, so as to be mistaken for a child’s coat, and A-line shape with the bow, is an updated take on one of my favorite silhouettes, the ‘50s classic housecoat. I love the idea of throwing this bright, playful coat over a neutral, or even over some neons that are all over the pages of fashion magazines this month, and running out the door.  If I was only a social like Olivia, I could snap up this coat easily on my lunch break with an easy doubleclick, without any thoughts of recession guilt. - Kathleen

FOUR. Monica Hirsch Tropical Peonies — Monica Hirsch’s artistic floral designs may be the among prettiest that I’ve ever seen and it’s difficult to choose a favorite. This month, her seasonal tropical peonies arrangement has really caught my eye. Bright and fresh, this arrangement would light up anyone’s bedroom. It’s a lovely gift for any occasion or for yourself to lighten up your home. It’s been a longtime dream for me to decorate with flowers and once I have my own apartment. MonicaHirsch.com is the first place I’m going! – Carolyn

FIVE. Apple Time Capsule — As the proud owner of a new 15 inch Macbook Pro (which I love so much that I can’t stop staring at it), the only thing missing now is a quick and easy way to back up all my files. I’m using an external hard drive right now and while it’s not terrible, the Time Capsule would make everything ten times easier. As a wireless 500 GB hard drive, it would back up my entire computer every night without me having to plug anything in, which my lazy self appreciates, and the Wi-Fi is even faster then the Airport that I have now. Plus, with my MobileMe account, I can even access my backed up files when I’m away from home, which makes me really excited. (Does that make me a computer nerd?) At $299, it’s not totally out of my reach, so this is one Lust List item that might actually be coming home with me soon… - Stacey

I received my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer as a shower gift back in 2000. That thing is still going strong and looks as new as it did the first day out of the box! Totally leaves other mixers in the dust. Definitely a major splurge, but it will be with you for years to come.
