Summering in YSL
Doesn’t this makeup look from YSL just scream summer resort glamour? It would go perfectly with an Eres bikini, some jewels and a French Riveria vacation right about now. This is one of the most striking looks I’ve come across and I can’t stop looking at it! I’m especially enamored with the TRÉSOR D’AFRIQUE COLLECTOR Palette for the Eyes in the blue version that’s featured in the shoot.
I haven’t gotten my hands on the products yet but it’s at the top of my list for Summer 2009. It just came out at Saks so let me know what you think if you get the chance to check it out. Not sure how to pull it off? Today, experts are also offering individual tutorials between 10:00am and 7:00pm on how to achieve the look. Send us a before/after picture if you go!

I love this kind of thing. I wish I could have done it! It’s such a great way to lure shoppers plus the best way when it comes to beauty products is to try things for yourself — isn’t that why Sephora is doing so well? Plus look at all the free publicity YSL has been getting because of this!? I’ve been very inspired by this book I’ve read recently called “The Power of Small” to grow my buisness. It’s so easy to feel discouraged these days by what’s going on, but there are small things each one of us can do to grow both personally and professionally and I think as long as we keep that in mind we’re golden:) Who knew I could be so inspired by a book?? Especially one that’s such a quick read!
